Susan C. Brethauer is co-owner, licensed facilitator, and trainer with Brethauer & Janson Consulting, L.L.C. She has developed her skills as an independent trainer and organizational development consultant with over 25 years experience in positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resource Management and Development. She is certified to administer the Insight Personality Instrument™.

Susan has conducted a myriad of training courses in Human Resource Management and Employee Development. Her expertise resulted in her being a guest instructor for the Air Force Human Resource School in Montgomery Alabama. Susan has directed an educational development program for an organization of over 900 employees, managed in-house training, and procured cost-effective vendor training for employees. She also managed the respective payroll and awards program budgets. Her expertise in structuring organizations, defining job responsibilities, and recruiting personnel make her a sought after management consultant. She is trained in Alternate Dispute Resolution methods and has amicably resolved a number of grievances between employees and management without the services of a mediator.

She was selected mid-level manager of the year for a major DoD Unified Command in 1998 and Personnel Officer of the Year for U.S. Air Force in Europe in 1994.

Susan is a member of the American Society of Training & Development. She received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and completed course work at Webster University, St. Louis, MO in the HR Development Masters program.
