Lorene A. Janson

Lorene A. Janson is co-owner, licensed facilitator, and trainer with Brethauer & Janson Consulting, L.L.C. She has been involved in the development and evaluation of numerous training courses in quality concepts, tools, and assessments. She is certified to administer the Insight Personality Instrument™, Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorÒ, and the trilogy of Franklin CoveyÒ courses. For two years she was an adjunct faculty member of Park College, Parkville, MO where she instructed Introduction to Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Interpersonal Communication.

Lorene has over 19 years of experience within the Department of Defense. Most recently she served as the Organizational Effectiveness Coordinator for a major unified command. There she was involved in the design and delivery of a corporate-level organizational effectiveness program. In 1998, she was competitively selected for a one-year developmental assignment to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Directorate of Administration and Management, Washington, D.C.

Lorene served on The Lincoln Foundation for Business Excellence Board of Examiners as a Lead Examiner in 1998 and 1997. By agreeing to serve, she participated in efforts to improve enterprises throughout the State of Illinois. In 1995 and 1996 she served as a judge for the Secretary of the Air Force Quality Award, based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award principles.

Lorene is a member of the American Society for Quality and a certified ISO 9000 Internal Auditor. She received a Dual BS in Human Resource and Management from Park College, Parkville, MO and a Masters in Human Resources Development from Webster University, St Louis, MO.
