Mary Birtles

Mary Birtles has worked in the field of education for over twenty years as a classroom teacher (middle school, elementary, at-risk youth), as an outdoor/adventure education program director (team building, ropes course, environmental studies) and as a curriculum designer (character building series called “Tools for Life”). She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Auburn University, and has used her love for children to inspire her instruction to adults in the community in parenting and family relational skills. Mary has worked with many groups to help them connect with each other, learn their individual strengths and apply their discoveries in a practical everyday fashion. She is affiliated with the Association of Experiential Education and is a certified trainer with Insight Learning Foundation.
