E Learning, Inc. (www.performanceelearning.com)
is a company dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art online educational
solutions. They focus on providing academic courses for grades K-12 students
and for adult learners in any stage of their life or profession. The robust
and interactive academic courses can be delivered in either an asynchronous
or synchronous mode to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
The courses specific to elementary, middle, and high school students are
correlated to state standards and state proficiency/graduation tests.
Courses are
also available to meet the professional development needs of individuals
who are seeking personal skill enhancement. These same courses are beneficial
for the worker who is either entering the workforce or who wants to advance
in their chosen profession. Other individuals who can take advantage of
the learning are those in any area of education. This is a cost-effective
way for educators to enhance their skills and not have to spend time away
from their students. And opportunities exist for high school students
to take courses in conjunction with their other classes.

Greg
Berryman is the Founder of Performance E Learning, Inc.
After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 1981,
Greg went to work for IBM in Cincinnati, Ohio as the marketing
representative focusing on the hardware and software needs
for students in grades K-12. Greg spent the next 15 years
working in numerous IBM positions in sales, management, and
marketing addressing many issues related to educational delivery
options in the K-12 industry.
In
1998 Greg founded The Citadel Group International with the
purpose of creating the "Virtual Learning Academy"
(VLA) to provide e-learning opportunities for students throughout
the United States. The VLA was launched in the first quarter
of 1999.
Since
its inception, the "Virtual Learning Academy" expanded
to numerous districts in the United States, successfully serving
several thousand students who have earned high school credit
toward their graduation requirements or college entry mandates.
In
the second quarter of 2001, Greg began creating a marketing
infrastructure that currently includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama,
Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, California, and Puerto Rico.
With
the increase in company growth and expansion and focus, the
name of the company was changed to more adequately reflect
the organization's mission and goals and future. Therefore,
in 2002, Performance E Learning, Inc, was established to reflect
the new generation of K-12 educational solutions that will
allow the promise of technology in learning to be realized
around the globe.

Sandra
L. Shellenberger is the President of Performance E Learning,
Inc. She holds a Master of Education degree from The Pennsylvania
State University, State College, Pennsylvania and has completed
an additional 90+ semester hours of coursework at Xavier University
in Cincinnati, Ohio and Wright State University in Dayton,
Ohio in the areas of educational leadership and administration.
Sandy
worked as a Home Economist for West Penn Power Company, a
large public utility company in Western Pennsylvania, before
entering the teaching profession. In 1969, she joined a school
district in Pennsylvania, where she taught for eight years.
In 1977 Sandy relocated to Ohio and began what would be a
25- year career in Ohio education, both as a classroom teacher
and as an administrator. Two of her roles included being an
assistant superintendent for a large city school district
serving 10,000 K-12 students and 8,000 adults and an assistant
superintendent for a career-technical district serving students
and adults from eight different local school districts.
During
her tenure in public education, Sandy taught a variety of
adult community education classes and is currently an adjunct
professor for Wright State University, where she teaches courses
relative to teacher certification. She also worked with The
J.C. Penney Co. in Pittsburgh to develop and deploy courses
specific to the organization's houseware's department to showcase
and promote related products.
During
her last three years in public education, Sandy worked with
a public school district to assist in implementing a virtual
environment of learning for secondary students and adults.
Not only was she involved with the deployment of courses directly
to students, she made presentations to educational groups
and provided training to educators who were utilizing the
virtual courses.
As
President of Performance E Learning, Sandy supports the Founder
in his efforts to deploy the company's online solutions, while
assuming responsibility for course development, training,
and all other educational components relative to the online
solutions.
