Bonnie Ewoldt Bonnie Ewoldt is the Lead Instructor at Blue Water Alternative High School in Spirit Lake, IA, where she works with at-risk teens to complete credits for their high school diplomas. She has taught in traditional and alternative high school classrooms and has many years of experience teaching and motivating the un-motivated learner. Bonnie is an independent certified facilitator for the Insight Learning Foundation and has conducted Insight workshops for students, educators, and school administrators to help them understand how to effectively identify and work with the different personalities in the classroom. She is also experienced in leading workshops for church and civic groups interested in learning how optimize the strengths of each personality color within their organizations. Ms. Ewoldt completed her undergraduate work at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, and earned a Masters Degree in Education Leadership from Southwest State University, Marshall, MN. While doing her graduate study, she focused on brain-based learning, learning styles, and completed research in staff-designed professional development. She is a member of the Professional Educators of Iowa and a past board member of the Iowa Association of Alternative Education. |
