Most orders are shipped within one to two business days after receipt and verification. Rush orders placed before noon, Mountain Time, will usually ship the same day. Orders are picked up at our warehouse at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, so orders placed after that time will definitely not ship the same day. Large orders, or orders that require assembly, may not ship the same day. In fact, if your order requires customization, please add one full week for production and assembly. No orders are processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. In the event of an unusual shipment delay, every effort will be made to contact you by phone or e-mail. If the delay is due to a backordered item, you will be contacted and given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute another item, or cancel the order. Credit card problems or delinquent invoices may also cause delays in shipping.
The table below shows average delivery times for the shipping options we offer. We do not offer shipping insurance.
The shipping times on the table above are estimates and may be affected by factors over which Insight has no control. These factors include incorrect delivery address, customs delays, and Post Office delivery restrictions. Orders which are affected by these factors tend to arrive in 5-6 weeks, and Insight will take no action on these orders during that time. Please contact us if delivery is taking longer than you expect. We will check delivery confirmation and advise. If there is anything we can do, we will do it.
United Parcel Service (UPS). Below is a chart showing transit days for UPS Ground orders. Because UPS business days are Monday through Friday, when calculating transit days, do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. For example, shipments to the east coast usually take exactly one week. UPS cannot ship to Post Office boxes (PO Box orders must be shipped through the United States Postal Service). When your package is shipped, you will be notified of your tracking number by email. Tracking numbers are used by UPS to identify and trace every package. Packages with tracking numbers get scanned at each checkpoint on their journey, allowing you to see the location of your package as it moves through the UPS system to its destination.
United States Postal Service (USPS). USPS business days are Monday through Saturday. All orders addressed to an APO or FPO (military mail) must be shipped via a USPS method. USPS customers will receive a Delivery Confirmation number for each package which you to verify delivery. This service gives you the date, zip code, and the time your article was delivered. If delivery was attempted you will get the date and time of attempted delivery. Packages with Delivery Confirmation do not get scanned at each checkpoint on their journey.
International packages are delivered via the postal service of the destination country. Tracking is only available for International Express packages, and Insight cannot ship to international PO Boxes. Any duties or taxes levied against packages arriving from outside the destination country are determined by local Customs and Immigration agencies and are the responsibility of the recipient. Insight cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the purchaser or recipient of orders due to non-delivery of packages or late shipment deliveries.
