Gaining Insight: An Introduction to the Insight Personality System The Gaining Insight CDROM was created for Insight distributors, trainers, and facilitators who are introducing their clients to the Insight Personality System and the other products and philosophies of the Insight Learning Foundation. The disc contains 16 slideshows with a combined running time of 81 minutes. This marketing tool may be loaned to prospective clients who wish to learn more about Insight solutions. The client inserts the disc into a Windows-compatible computer and the multimedia presentation starts automatically. The client then watches the segments that appeal to him or her. After viewing the resources, the disc would be returned to the Insight Associate who would then generate a proposal to sell a combination of Insight products and training services. With the aid of a laptop computer and video projector, an Insight Associate may also use the disc as part of a marketing presentation to groups of people. This tool is ideal for introducing the four Insight temperaments and discussing the educational solutions that Insight has created to teach people about temperament. This disc may also be used as part of a lecture, keynote address, or fireside to introduce the colors concept. Of course, this disc may not be used to identify the colors of individuals — to do that requires the purchase of an Insight personality assessment device for each participant, i.e. test booklets, cards, or online tests. Furthermore, while the disc contains several segments from the Discovering Your Personality Spectrum course and the Teaching in the Nexus course, it is not meant to replace enrollment in either courses. If an Associate owns a copy of the facilitator guide for either of these items, course information, materials, activities, or presentation aides may not be used in the marketing presentation — they may be used only with people who are enrolled in the course.
